Sculpted painting. The sculpture is formed with clay, on a wooden panel, painted with acrylic, followed by oil paint. Once the paint has cured, the piece is finished with varnish to provide a non-porous layer to prevent dust and dirt from being embedded in the paint layers beneath.

This sculpted painting is part of the Unlock Series. Embedded within the piece is an actual key. The viewer is invited to find the key. When found, it is your invitation to ask for what you would like unlocked in your life.
